What is Azure Analysis Services (AAS)? It is the Cloud version of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and it has been introduced in 2017. You can host Tabular models in Azure. For now, AAS supports only Tabular models with compatibility level 1200. Depending on customer demand, support for Multidimensional models will be considered in the future.
